Project Aim
To reduce the number of 14-16 year old young people across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent entering the NEET group at 16; through delivery of an individualised programme which will change their perceptions to the benefits of staying in learning and proactively support them in making a positive transition at 16.
Through personalised support, the project will raise achievement; develop personal and employability skills; provide access to provision and activities which would be otherwise denied to this target group of young people, thus significantly impacting upon their future aspirations and life chances.
The project will engage and retain 333 students over the life of the project. The project is split into three strands.
