We are working closely with the 14-19 teams across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent on employer engagement support for the Diplomas.

We have a team dedicated Diploma Liaison Officers who are support by Specialist Officers who can bring their expertise to the individual Diploma lines.  Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Local Authorities have been very successful in their Gateway bids for Diplomas and we are finding that employers are very enthusiastic about these new qualifications.  We are currently developing a dedicated database of Diploma employers and also producing a set of line specific work experience challenges which have been developed in partnership with local employers.
