Industry Days
Industry
days provide the opportunity for Secondary, Middle and Primary Schools to
raise pupils awareness to real life scenarios, practices through stimulating
business activities.
Standard Industry Days
Pupils have the opportunity to work with employers on a wide range of work
related tasks that simulate actual business activity whilst addressing life's
key skill areas.
Team and Teamwork Days
Provide pupils with a challenging experience that includes, problem solving,
creativity, cooperation, communication and team work.
Cross
Phase Days
Create the opportunity for Primary pyramids to link with their High
Schools. A typical of such a day might involve year 6 and 9 pupils
working on a design and make project.
Personal
Effectiveness
Specialised programmes for developing citizenship, self-esteem, goals
and motivation. |

Funding / Support - Funding to support Industry Days for Year 10 pupils
and above may be accessed through local management group funds.
For Year 9 and below funding for industry, cross phase and pupil development
may be accessed through SRB5 objective 3.
In both cases you will need to complete a bid form obtainable from the Partnership
Office.
Support in planning, co-ordinating and leading the day is also available.
